Dover angler Shane Edwards was fishing with his pal at Hythe when he had a huge bite that caused his line to snap. Cursing his luck he re-set his tackle and carried on.

Thirty minutes later his mate was reeling in when it all went heavy and bingo! A ten pound bass on Shane’s lost tackle! The conundrum here was who was the captor?

Very well done lads, a super fish.

Dymchurch angler Cieron Bull, meanwhile, caught this stunning carp from his local syndicate lake. It went 27lbs and is a real "looker! Well done Cieron.
