SMALL firm chiefs have been urged to take the stress out of late payments by learning more about credit control. Club Enterprise, an independent group of small businesses, meets on Tuesday at Bridge Wardens' College in Chatham Historic Dockyard, at 7.30pm. Finance expert Steve Comerford will talk about credit control and small claims.
A club spokesman said: "Whether your core business is manufacturing, wholesale or retail, the prompt payment of invoices provides the firm platform for profit and growth. If the payment cycle slows down, or even stops then stress levels rise and profitability plummets. Bad debtors can be a thing of the past by spending a profitable couple of hours with us on Tuesday evening."
Members from any part of the county are welcome. More details from Pam Walker on 01634 379689.
