A creative marketing agency in Kent has been hired by a German glasses maker to relaunch its sunglasses range inspired by the Wimbledon tennis championship.
Zest, based in Lordswood, near Chatham, has been tasked with making Rodenstock’s flagship brand appeal to a more youthful audience than its traditional market.
The manufacturer, which has its UK headquarters in Northfleet, is set to launch its new range in January.
Zest account director Helen Wood said: “Our aim is to present a cool but not overly trendy campaign, using lifestyle imagery to position this timeless, classic brand with a younger clientele.”
Rodenstock business manager eyewear Damien Klevge said: “Wimbledon Sunglasses are an instantly distinguishable eyewear collection with heritage, tradition and outstanding quality.
“Zest has helped us transition this nationwide favourite into modern society with fresh ideas and invaluable concepts.
“Their professionalism and phenomenal communication skills made this project a delight.”
Zest employs 20 people in Kent. Other clients include Southeastern Trains, Emirates, Lloyds Pharmacy and Leeds Castle.
