BANK of Scotland Business Banking has strengthened its business banking division in Tunbridge Wells by appointing Marcus Abbott as associate director.

The appointment forms part of the bank's ambitious growth strategy to capture market share from the "Big Four" clearing banks.

Marcus will work alongside Tony Oakley, associate director of new business, and Martin Fish, new business manager. The newly strengthened team will focus on

generating new business, arranging innovative banking solutions for small and medium enterprises.

Marcus who has been recruited from Barclays, has worked extensively in business banking for more than 20 years.
