So-called "Superstar" trips like this helped Adecco come 26th in The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for.

The listing is based on employee satisfaction surveys. Adecco secured positive results for My Company (83 per cent) - beaten by only five other firms - with staff going out of their way to provide a great service (93 per cent) and identifying work as an important part of their life (87 per cent).

The company also offers a monthly incentive scheme which sees one top worker rewarded with a £1,000 voucher to use as they please.

Kathy Alexander, branch manager in Dartford, said: "Jo has done a fantastic job and we're really proud of her.

"Adecco is a really vibrant place to work, staff feel motivated and loyal and consequently go on to stay for a number of years. Colleagues really care about doing a good job and have a sense that the contribution they make is valued."

Adecco is official recruitment services provider to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It recently launched a website www.jobsforthegames.co.uk
