Lord Sugar's right-hand man in The Apprentice has been hired to speak at a festive business event in Kent.
The man who famously got into trouble for being uncomplimentary about Margate in a previous series, has more than atoned for his mistake by attending several events that promote the county. He has supported the recent Kent Contemporary tourism promotion campaign.
His latest appearance will be at the Kent 2020 Christmas Business Lunch being held at the Kent Showground, Detling, on November 30.
Mr Hewer will be offering an entertaining insight into celebrity culture and life on The Apprentice, along with some serious business messages and marketing knowledge.
VisitKent, the event sponsor, says he is "one of the most enthralling and memorable speakers you will hear."
A spokesman added: "Nick has been associated with VisitKent since the 2010 Kent 2020 event and has since been awarded the title of "Fan of Kent" due to his overwhelming support of Visit Kent's Kent Contemporary campaign, which was launched this summer."
For more than 20 years, the public relations expert was a key member of Amstrad's management structure, working closely with its founder Alan Sugar. He built up a long and impressive client list. As well as international corporations, he represented the Secretariat of HH the Aga Khan and the wife of the ruler of Dubai, the late Sheikh Maktoum.
KM Group business editor Trevor Sturgess will be hosting a season quiz at the event, which has been organised by Carole Black on behalf of Business Support Kent.
Tickets cost £39.50 plus Vat, or £385 plus Vat for a table of 10. They will include a reception drink and three-course lunch with wine by Tapenade, award-winning Kent caterers. To book, visit www.bestbusinessevents.co.uk
