Faversham's Shepherd Neame takes home gold in the British Bottlers' Institute Awards 2021

Faversham brewer Shepherd Neame has won double gold at a national awards.

The firm picked up the achievements at the 2021 British Bottlers' Institute competition which recognises the best in the bottling and packaging industry.

Two of the Faversham brewer's beers took home gold in the 2021 BBI Awards

Its Bear Island East Coast Pale Ale, launched in 2017, picked up a gold in the ales category, while its Bear Island Triple Hopped Lager collected gold in the lager category.

Whitstable Bay Blonde received a diploma of excellence in the same category

Mike Unsworth, Shepherd Neame head brewer, said: “To have three of our contemporary beers recognised in this way is a great accolade, showing once again that our beers are among the best in Britain.”
