A care company is set to expand its operation along the east Kent coast.

Caremark Thanet has been operated by husband and wife team Garry and Jayne Costain since October 2012.

Based in Margate, the firm already provides more than 2,200 hours of care every week in the area.

Now it is opening Caremark Dover offering its service across Sandwich and Deal.

Mr Costain explains: "We’re often approached by individuals with care needs in neighbouring Dover so, we decided to launch in an area with a real demand for quality care. We are so thrilled to expand the business and we are determined to bring the very highest standard of care to our new clients.”

Mrs Costain added: "Having already employed over 100 office staff and care workers at our Thanet office, we’re looking forward to bringing employment to a new area. Offering sustainable employment opportunities in a sector with real prospects is something we both feel extremely passionate about. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be looking to expand our team of care workers so that we can offer support to more people and change more lives for the better."
