Chartered accountant struck off

AN ACCOUNTANT accountant has been struck off after being found guilty of conspiracy to steal.

Roger Leonard Crow, of Cliffe Road, Rochester, pleaded guilty to the charge on January 29, 2003.

Following a hearing of the Disciplinary Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in July, it was decided that Crow should be excluded from membership.

Crow was also ordered to pay costs of £2,617. The tribunal could not say if he would ever be re-admitted to membership but recommended he did not apply for the next 10 years.
