Ashberry Homes and Bellway to invest £2.4m into Hoo St Werburgh

Developers behind a new housing site are to pump £2.4 million into the local economy.
Ashberry Homes is currently building 79 homes at Willow Fields in Hoo St Werburgh on the Hoo Peninsula.
It forms part of a wider 232-home development on the former sports and social club site off Bells Lane.
The housebuilder and neighbouring developers Bellway are together contributing more than £2.4m as part of the planning agreement for the development.
Some £882,000 will go towards local education, more than £544,000 towards enhancing local green space, £530,000 for local sports facilities, £108,000 towards community facilities and £108,000 for healthcare.
