A new holiday lettings firm specialising in properties in the county has launched.
Bloom Stays, based in Canterbury, has been founded by Rowena Owen and Nicky Russon - both formerly of lettings company Mulberry Cottages.
It already has 50 properties on its books and the duo hope its "highly personalised" service will see it carve out a niche in the competitive sector.
Rowena explained: "Our guests are asking for the human touch when it comes to bookings and our owners are looking for cool heads and a deep understanding of the market. We’ve got both of those covered and keeping it local to our home patch in the Garden of England ensures we can offer an all-round service.”
Nicky added: “Clearly current circumstances impose restrictions on our owners’ businesses that, while understandable, aren’t ideal. However throughout 2020 we have been working closely with our owners to ensure their properties and bookings are protected as far as possible and for us, that care and attention puts us head and shoulders about the competition. We know our patch here in Kent and we want to build a business that delivers for guests and owners alike.”
