A business telecoms firm has posted its 12th consecutive yearly increase in income.

AdEPT, based in Tunbridge Wells, has recorded a 13.5% boost in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciatin and amortisation to £4.6 million.

Despite acquiring technology and communications firm Centrix in May, in a deal worth up to £12.5 million, the company was able to reduce its net debt to £1.5 million, down from £3 million a year earlier.

Chairman Roger Wilson said: “AdEPT has delivered its 12th consecutive year of increased EBITDA and continues to deliver consistently free cash flow generation.

“The company achieved a significant reduction to net borrowings despite undertaking an acquisition during the year.

“The board is confident that continued focus on underlying profitability and strong cash generation will support a progressive dividend policy.”
