A business consultancy has grown its workforce to more than 50 people after a takeover for an undisclosed sum.

Embridge Consulting, based at Springhead Road, Northfleet, will keep its new staff from Glad Solutions at its newly-acquired offices in Crawley.

It has worked with the learning and development consultancy, formed in 2010, for several years in e-learning projects.

Embridge, founded in 2009, uses a variety of methods and systems to help businesses improve access to company information to increase efficiency.

Its clients include BT, Cancer Research Uk, Port of London Authority and Shelter.

Managing director Emma O’Brien said: “The Glad team have delivered consistently on behalf of Embridge Consulting whenever we have had e-learning client requirements and have always delivered top quality e-learning products.

“The team bring a wealth of new skills and a passion for e-learning and we are really looking forward to developing our service offering with them.

“This is an amazing opportunity for us to move into new markets.

“We are already planning the launch of an Embridge Academy so watch this space.”

The company also has a Bristol office.
