A major science and technology site is giving a business the chance to have an office for free for six months.

Discovery Park in Sandwich, which is homes to more than 100 businesses, will give the prize to the winner of a competition at the Kent 2020 Vision Live business show.

The winning business will be given the site free of charge with the hope of “enabling them to expand their working environment and join a range of companies at the Enterprise Zone”.

The Kent 2020 business show at the Kent Showground in Detling offers developing and start-up business support in a range of events and free conventions.

Anna Stone, leasing director at Discovery Park, said: “We are delighted to be able to donate our office space, giving a company the opportunity to join our diverse business to benefit from working alongside the other tenants at the park.

“We hope that after six months, the winning business will have established themselves as part of our community and will want to invest in a more permanent office here.”
