A WEBSITE designed to help Kent businesses do better has been launched by Kent County Council and driven by Kent Sustainable Business Partnership. The site, www.egeneration.co.uk/kent allows businesses to promote best practice, sustainable technology, products and services as well as providing information for cost-effective action on energy transport waste and other issues.

Data available on line includes a green office guide where to get materials and how to reduce waste, a benchmarking tool to measure company performance, details of training opportunities, events and other useful help and advice.

Graham Gibbens, KCC's lead member for regeneration, said: "Encouraging sustainable development is one of the main aims of Kent Prospects, the County Council's economic development strategy for the next four years. Using the latest technology the egeneration website is a valuable tool which gives Kent companies online access to a whole range of services and advice."
