A Kent law firm is advising bosses on the £45m redevelopment of a hospital.

Maidstone-based Brachers will give legal advice to Benenden Health on the renovation of its site near Cranbrook.

The firm was selected to guide hospital staff through more complicated contractual areas.

The redevelopment will give patients individual bedrooms and build a new main entrance with an adjacent car park and drop off area.

Benenden Hospital will also incorporate MRI scanning and diagnostic imaging all under one roof.

It will expand its physiotherapy area and build modern operating theatres and a new endoscopy unit.
