Digital marketing agency Sleeping Giant Media is holding a free two-hour workshop for small businesses and high street retailers as they battle the consequences of lockdown.

The Folkestone-based firm hopes the virtual event will provide those taking part with the essentials to running a cost-effective advertising campaign online to optimise their digital presence.

It will cover Christmas marketing, local search and SEO, Google My Business, running ads, social media promotion, reporting return on investment through digital and other key areas.

The event takes place on Wednesday, December 2, from 10am until noon. It coincides with the expected lifting of the national lockdown restrictions.

A spokesman for the firm said: "We have always had a strong focus on digital skills share, and we're always happy to lend a helping hand to help businesses thrive online.

"There has always been a need to have a digital presence for your business, but it’s now even greater a need than ever before."
