The hammer falls on an auction for a commercial estate in Broadstairs this week, with a guide price in excess of £1 million.

Lambert’s Yard on Dane Valley Road in St Peter’s, is an established commercial area, covering just under one acre, with 15 light industrial units.

All but two are currently let, bringing in an average rental cost of £111,000 a year.

Deals are believed to be on the table for the two empty units which could generate around £15,000 a year.

The site is up for auction - at a guide price of between £1m to £1.2m - with Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

The closing date for bids is Friday, November 1.
