A CHATHAM business woman won a national business award for her book-keeping skills.

Amanda Byron beat off competition from thousands of other hopefuls across the UK to win the prestigious title of book-keeper of the year.

She impressed the judges with her financial control that had added to the efficiency of the business and improved its financial position.

The International Association of Book-keepers presented Ms Byron with her certificate at the Business Enterprise Awards in London. The annual awards aim to promote the sharing of good practice within the small business sector.
