A RECRUITMENT business based in Tunbridge Wells has been listed as one of the UK's fastest-growing privately owned companies.

Sand Resources, an IT recruitment agency, featured in 92nd position in the Hot 100 published in Real Business magazine.

With an average annual sales growth of 62.8% and a turnover of £3.7m in the last financial year, Sand Resources appears as one of just four companies in Kent to appear.

David Seear, Joint Managing Director of Sand Resources, said: “We are delighted that our hard work over the last few years has been recognised in this way.

"Since launching the business in 1999 our industry has not always enjoyed particularly buoyant trading conditions, and at times it has felt like we were trying to push water uphill.
