Lark Insurance Group has won the Private Client Broker of the Year award at the prestigious UK Insurance Age Broker Awards.

It is the second year running that the city-based family firm, which has been in the insurance business for 66 years, has won the award.

Lark, which has an office in King Street, Maidstone, stood out among giants in the insurance broker market and managing director of the Private Client team, David Foster, said he was ‘delighted’ to receive the award.

Lark’s Private Client business specialises in looking after ultra-high value property including fine art collections, jewellery and musical instruments.

Lark is listed in the Top 40 Brokers in the UK, placing more than £100m into the market on behalf of 30,000 clients and has a 94% retention rate.
