Businesses in Kent are being urged to throw their hats into the ring for the chance to win the Queen’s Awards For Enterprise in 2020.

These prestigious awards - the highest in the land for industry - are separated into four categories; Innovation, Sustainable Development, Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility) and International Trade.

The awards are made annually by Her Majesty The Queen, and are only given for the highest levels of excellence in each of the above categories.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

Businesses looking to be considered for the prestigious award need to complete their online applications by midday on Tuesday, September 10.

The winners will be notified in March next year before an official announcement is made on April 23, 2020.
