A Kent trucking firm stars in a troubleshooting television show tomorrow.
Rendrive Haulage, from Belvedere, will be featured in The Business Inspector, a four-part series presented by entrepreneur Hilary Devey.
It goes out at 8pm on Wednesday on Five.
Series sponsor HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is injecting £370,000 to underline the message that small firms need to keep good records.
Hilary, founder of the Pall-Ex Group and featured in a Channel 4 Secret Millionaire show in 2008, is treading in the footsteps of the late Sir John Harvey-Jones who became a big television celebrity for his business troubleshooting programmes.
Harry Clapp, owner of Rendrive Haulage, said: "Hilary's a hard taskmaster, but she's fair. Her sales and marketing advice has been invaluable."
Stephen Banyard, business customer unit director at HMRC, said: "Rendrive Haulage got real help and advice including the need for good record keeping from Hilary.
"Keeping good records makes good business sense as it gives small businesses the information they need to manage their business and help it grow.
"It also makes filling tax returns easier and helps SMEs pay the right amount of tax."
