COLLEEN NELSON, an environmental law specialist, has been appointed as a partner at asb law, the largest law firm in the South East.

Colleen’s arrival will provide a significant boost as asb law, which has offices in Maidstone, develops its environmental services.

Colleen is qualified as a solicitor in South Africa, England and Wales and in Scotland. She is cited as an environmental specialist in Legal Experts and the Legal 500 and has published a number of articles on environmental issues in accredited journals.

She said: “This is an exciting opportunity to further develop the firm’s environmental services. I am looking forward to working with a wide range of businesses throughout the South East, especially as the need to comply with various regulations and to manage environmental liabilities increases.”

Christopher Honeyman Brown, asb law’s chief executive, said: “I am delighted to welcome Colleen, whose experience, particularly in environmental law, will enable us to increase the range and depth of our client services. Colleen’s appointment is part of our strategy to continue to deliver “City law” at local prices to our clients.”
