In 2007, Alltask reached MegaGrowth’s third place and in 2008 it was 27th. company is back towards the top of the list this year, in fourth place.
Alltask was created as a scaffolding company in 1991 by Daniel Fincham, before moving into a range of building services.
Work now includes asbestos removal, bricklaying, building and civil engineering, property maintenance, sea insulation, industrial coating and fire protection.
In June 2009, Alltask was awarded the scaffolding works for the new Turner Contemporary gallery in Margate.
“It’s a great privilege to be involved in a project that is so intrinsic to Kent,” said Mr Fincham, Alltask CEO.
“We’ve spent the last two years working at the Tate Modern undertaking brickwork, scaffolding and specialist building support works, and the award of the Turner Contemporary Centre builds on that specialism we’re getting in the public buildings sector.
It all began when we worked on The Millennium Bridge just outside Tate Modern in London, and we’ve never looked bac.”
In July 2009, Alltask was awarded its latest project for Tate Modern which delivers integrated brickwork and scaffolding. The works at Tate Modern are set to run until 2010.
