Anyone needing bulldozers, compactors, excavators, dump trucks, motor graders, wheel loaders, asphalt equipment and a host of other plant can usually find what they want at Hawkspare.

The business was founded by Bryan Hawkins in 1955 to export used truck engines and spare parts to the Far East. The business is now managed by Derek Hawkins.

It is regarded as one of Europe’s leading stockists and suppliers of heavy machinery, dealing with all aspects of procurement, repairs, documentation and shipping.

The company’s Green Street Green HQ has a fully-equipped workshop and special areas for shot blasting and repainting.

Mr Hawkins, managing director, said: “Hawkspare has a long-standing reputation for understanding its customers’ needs and dealing with those valued clients on a personal basis.

"We are committed to continuing, and indeed building, on this success and look forward to the opportunity of serving both new and established customers.”
