KentJobs Fair Canterbury 2019 for job seekers, recruiters and businesses on Wednesday, May 15

Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming KentJobs Fair Canterbury which will take place at Canterbury College.

Around 20 businesses have already signed up and even more are expected to swell up the numbers at KentJobs Fair Canterbury which will take place on Wednesday, May 15 between 9am and 2pm.

The inaugural Kent jobs fair, which is in association with KM Kentish Gazette, Kent Jobs and also promoted by the East Kent College (EKC) Group, will give those in attendance the opportunity to speak to exhibitors about training, apprenticeships, volunteering and self-employment.

Events like the KentJobs Fair Canterbury have been growing in stature because they have proven very successful not only for entry level candidates but also those seeking people at the first steps of their careers.

“KentJobs Fair Canterbury is a great way for job seekers in Kent to meet many different recruiters and representatives from various educational institutes all on the same day,” said Neil Webster who is Commercial Director of the KM Media Group.

“We’re really excited to be working with EKC for this big event while the response from businesses so far has been fantastic.

“The fair is open to all and once again highlights KM Media Group’s dedication when it comes to playing an active role within the county. Those looking to book stands should get in early.”

Other benefits of KentJobs Fair Canterbury include the chance for those attending to network, collect application forms or even be interviewed on the spot at some stands.

“I’m delighted our College is working in partnership with KM Media Group to deliver the inaugural KentJobs Fair on May 15," added Canterbury College Principal Lucy McLeod.
