BAKER Tilly, the UK's seventh largest accountancy and financial advisory firm, has added another partner to its Bromley office.
Iain Stewart, who joined the firm in 1976, has spent the last 18 years working as a partner in the London office but recently transferred to Bromley, which is where he lives.
He said: "As someone who has lived in but not worked in Bromley for 25 years I am interested to find out about the businesses which are in the area and to see what help they need to develop further."
Mr Stewart had an ambition to work in the construction industry but has chosen not to leave Baker Tilly. He said: "I stayed on here because there were always more exciting and interesting things to do within the firm."
Mr Stewart's expertise lies in retail, retail catering and technology sectors and he is currently advising on the restructure of a computer games company whose new game is based on the "Crazy Frog".
He added: "I particularly enjoy working with fast growing companies and have had several included in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100. Typically my clients vary enormously in size, from £500K to £350 million turnover.
"What I particularly enjoy about Baker Tilly are the clients, the staff and the regular new challenges which each produce. My remit in the Bromley office will be to work with the other partners to further develop the client base and range and quality of work undertaken."
