An oil recycling company has expanded its operations into Aylesford as it continues to push out its services across the country.
Waste oil and used oil recycling specialists Oil Monster, which has been part of waste management company CSG since 2015, has grown significantly over the past four years expanding into seven depots with the addition of its Cambridge and Aylesford sites.
As part of the expansion, telesales and administration offices were opened in Chester with further depots opening in Botley near Southampton and in Worcester, with Aylesford and Cambridge now joining the list.
Lorna Roberts, Oil Monster business manager, said: “We were delighted to expand the business further into Aylesford.
“CSG has been operating for 85 years and already has a strong presence in the village, which is one of its oldest depots. However, we have now brought the Oil Monster brand to the region with a dedicated truck and driver.
“We collect waste oil from garages which are put through various processes so that it is recycled back to a base product that can have hundreds of uses. The oil is fully recycled, and nothing is burnt or sent to landfill.”
Oils that can be collected include hydraulic oil, gear oil, transformer oil, transmission oil and lubricating oil.
