Play Support Workers wanted by local charity SNAAP to care for disabled children on short break schemes

Would you like to join a friendly team providing high quality care for disabled children?

Local charity SNAAP - Special Needs Advisory and Activities Project - is looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to become Play Support Workers and help offer care for disabled children between eight and 19 during their short break schemes.

SNAAP is looking for play support workers

All schemes which the charity runs are at community venues in Herne Bay, Sittingbourne and Folkestone.

As a Play Support Worker, you will be responsible for looking after children of a range of ages on a one to one basis, providing personal care, encouraging positive behaviour and ensure they are safe - and having fun!

The role pays between £9.27 and £10.38 an hour, depending on experience and skills, and is from 9.30am to 5.30pm, including school holidays. There will be one Saturday per month.

There is a detailed job description online as well as an application form, though comprehensive CVs can be accepted.
