ASHFORD-based Campbell Soup Company has appointed a new managing director to run its UK operations.

Brian Mirsky, 48, will take up his position at the Kennington Road factory - which produces Batchelors instant dry soup, sauces, noodles and canned vegetables – on July 1.

Mr Mirsky, president of Campbell Canada, succeeds Alison Levett.
