THE growth of Ashford with its international links has inspired local GP Dr Raj Menon, occupational nurse Hilary Baker and practice nurse Dawn Coley to form a partnership to deliver a unique medical service for the area.

BMC Medical Services is providing a one stop Travel Clinic, based in the Out of Hours suite of the newly-built Sydenham House Surgery in Mill Court off Hythe Road.

The idea behind the service is to provide a modern, stress-free environment that does not take away the enjoyment and excitement of a holiday or business trip.

Clients can receive up to the minute health information on their chosen destination and receive all the vaccinations that they require. Appointments are made so that they do not interfere with the normal working day and are available in the evenings and weekends.

As Ashford expands more businessmen and women are making urgent trips abroad that need protection.
