FRAZER THOMPSON: "BCM can help protect your business and ensure you are able to respond with the minimal disruption to your business and clients"

LEARNING to cope with the unexpected - such as a terrorist attack or major disaster - will be the theme of the next business breakfast held by the Kent branch of the Institute of Directors.

The free event, which takes place on Thursday, January 18 next year, will be hosted by Kent County Council at County Hall, Maidstone, and will focus on business continuity management (BCM) and how to survive the unexpected.

IoD Kent chairman Frazer Thompson said: "We all hope never to be affected by a major incident or disaster; severe weather, fire, terrorism or loss of key personnel but it can happen any time.

"BCM can help protect your business and ensure you are able to respond sensibly and survive any such incident with the minimal disruption to your business and clients."
