A fast-growing haulage and distribution firm is celebrating after seeing off national rivals to land a top prize.

Aylesford-based Prospect Commercials was presented with the Commercial Contribution Award in a ceremony attended by 250 guests at Beaumont Park, Windsor. It was organised by the Fortec Distribution Network.

The award followed a vote among Fortec’s 65-strong network of licensees across the UK.

It recognises the company’s dedication to Fortec and its pledge to go the extra mile for customers.

Since joining Fortec in 2006, Prospect Commercials has grown from a workforce of 25 to more than 80. Its fleet of vehicles has risen from 25 to 70.

It has also moved to bigger premises in St Michael’s Closendustrial estate and opened a depot in Barking.

Delighted partner Danny Latham said the award was a testament to hard work.

“It also signifies the strength of our relationship with Fortec,” he said. “Joining the Network was a fantastic move for our company.”

Neil Hodgson, managing director of the Fortec Distribution Network, added: “We have had a fantastic first five years with the company and we look forward to building on this success in the years to come.”
