Companies will be shown how to make the most out of technology at a free seminar being run partly by Microsoft.
Bosses will be able to make their first foray into the international business scene or boost current trade abroad at the event called Kent Reimagined: Technology for Export.
The jargon-free session – also run by Kent County Council and and the Government’s export group UK Trade & Investment South East – will also include case studies from businesses already using new technologies in innovative ways.
KCC cabinet member for economic development Mark Dance said: “We want every business in Kent to realise its full potential and digital technology is changing the way the world works and offering unprecedented opportunities.
“This event will highlight how the digital world has changed the way businesses work and how you can adapt and change to make the most of the connected world.
“You needn’t find it daunting - this is a brilliant opportunity for anyone who has a business in Kent, big or small, to come and hear from the experts on how we should be adapting to the changes and grabbing the opportunities on offer with both hands.”
No prior knowledge is needed to attend. Takes place at Maidstone Studios in Vinters Business Park, New Cut Road, Maidstone, on Thursday, December 4.
