A Tunbridge Wells HR consultancy is celebrating after scooping two top awards in the SME News Southern Enterprise Awards.

ForrestHR Ltd was named Best Emerging HR Consultancy Firm 2020 while its founder, Sophie Forrest, was named Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

Founded in 2018, the firm was set up to provide flexible HR support to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises).

The firm has expanded and now has six HR consultants.

It also launched the Forrest Training Academy in July to provide people and skills-based training to businesses, followed by the Forrest Health & Wellbeing programme which has won the endorsement of the west Kent branch of mental health charity Mind.

Its founder said: "It’s an honour to have our achievements recognised.

"In developing the two new sister companies within only two years we are now able to offer all the services that HR teams and businesses need to look after all their staff needs to enable them to create and retain engaged, motivated, productive teams."
