INSPIRING tales were served up at a Kent Business Awards preview lunch rganised by the Kent branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD).
Previous winners entertained guests at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells with their stories of success in the competition, which recognises the brightest business talent in the county.
Guy Whitehead from Armourcoat and David Hale from Ward Security explained their reasons for entering and what their success had meant for them.
IoD Kent chairman Frazer Thompson, who was at the event, said: "It was great for the audience to be able to hear real life success stories and both speakers gave a fascinating insight into the impact competing and winning can have for a company."
The finals night for this year’s Kent Business Awards takes place on June 21.
