KENT’S javelin star Steve Backley is to help businesses hit the mark.

The winner of 13 championship medals from Chislehurst will be sharing the secrets of success that led him to becoming one of the most successful British athletes of all time.

Since his retirement in 2004, he has been been developing his own business ventures and vowed to help others become the best they can be.

He is heading a line-up of motivators, including Malcolm Palmer, Dave Sacree and Ruth Brothwell, at a one-day seminar in Docklands Museum, Canary Wharf, London, on Wednesday, June 13.
