BATCHELORS factory in Ashford is the latest local company to sign up to the Kent People's Trust which funds innovative crime prevention and education projects to make communities safer places to live in.

Campbell's Grocery Products general manager Tim Gregory has donated £1,000 to the Trust towards their efforts supporting crime reduction efforts for the benefit of his 300 staff.

He said: "Campbell's is delighted to be joining the Trust and look forward to getting involved in the excellent work they do to help improve local safety"
