POSSIBLE buyers have shown a lot of interest in the former headquarters of Unwins, the collapsed off-licence chain, according to administrators.
KPMG Corporate Recovery is in talks with a number of businesses interested in buying the complex in Dartford, but so far no sale had been achieved.
"There has been a lot of interest but we are still in negotiations," a spokeswoman said.
She confirmed that talks were also continuing with potential buyers about 150 branches that were not part of the package of 200 Unwins stores bought by the Thresher off-licence chain just before Christmas.
The 160-year-old ex-family firm collapsed with debts of more than £30million, costing the jobs of 1,400 people.
