A major boost in international trade has seen a biotech firm upgrade its laboratory space in the county for the third time.

Logical Biological, which specialises in providing biological specimens for diagnostics and therapeutic research, is based on the Discovery Park site in Sandwich.

Now, after a 170% increase in international trade over the past three years, it has upgraded its facilities at the site again.

Founded as a start-up with just two employees, the company recently secured the coveted King’s Award For Enterprise.
