THE Institute of Directors Kent Association of Young Entrepreneurs’ (KAYE) is getting ready to organise its second anniversary celebrations.

Established in 2004 to support business people aged between 18 and 35, the organisation has gone from strength to strength, helping the county’s entrepreneurs to grow their businesses by providing a mentoring service, access to impartial advice and networking opportunities.

To celebrate its success, KAYE is holding a second anniversary party at the White Rabbit, Maidstone, from 5.30-8pm on Wednesday 14 June.

Jo Ostermeyer, chairman of KAYE, said: "We are very proud to have achieved so much in a relatively short space of time. Our members come from a wide range of professions and situations – from sole traders just starting out to professionals within large organisations.

"The world of work can be intimidating, but we want to make business as accessible and enjoyable as possible for young people."
