KINGS Hill Institute, part of the University of Greenwich, is celebrating the anniversary of its first post-graduate programme with a conference on human resource management.
The Institute, based at West Malling, unveiled the MA in Employment Strategy in 1992. It is marking the birthday with the conference on September 11 and combining it with a reunion of former students.
Over the last 10 years, the Kings Hill Institute has grown in size and reputation. Initially, the university set up an office in Churchill Square and held classes for its masters degree course for human resource professionals at the Wateringbury Hotel.
The institute became firmly established at Kings Hill, West Malling, in 1994 when it moved into its own building.
This was consolidated in the summer of 2000 with the move to its purpose-designed building in the central area of the business park. Steve Wallis, head of the Kings Hill Institute, said: "The university has grown along with the business park and now offers a range of business and management courses, tailored to the needs of professionals and business people in Kent."
