An IT firm has marked its 30th anniversary with its founder stepping down as managing director - to be replaced by his son.
Select Technology, in Paddock Wood, which provides IT support and consultancy, was created in 1994 by Nigel Potter who has lead the company ever since.
It now employs more than 40 staff and delivers support to a range of SMEs and multinationals.
But he is now moving to the position of executive chairman - to be replaced by his son Nick who will now handle the day-to-day running of the business. He will be supported by technical services director Simon Moore.
The official handover will take place on November 1.
Nigel Potter said: “The IT sector has changed immeasurably since 1994. It’s been quite the journey.
“After 30 years leading Select Technology the time is now right to hand over the day-to-day running of the business.”
