Smart ideas that give ambitious firms a more prosperous New Year are on the menu at a business breakfast.

The next Business Community Breakfast, hosted by St Augustine’s Church, Gillingham, is being held on Tuesday January 12 at Gillingham Golf Club, starting at 7.30am.

Steve Hotham will be giving a short presentation entitled Smart Ideas for BIGGER Futures!

The networking and support forum, organized in partnership with local firm Practical Sales and Marketing, aims to help businesses and the people who run them in an informal atmosphere.

The Business Community Breakfast is backed by other churches in the area and aims to cater for all businesses including retailers, small and medium enterprises, larger companies and the self-employed.

The Rev Jonathan Jennings, the vicar of St Augustine’s, said: "This is a genuine opportunity for businesses in our community to encounter each other informally and there will also be the opportunity for people to bring literature and products for display.

"The meeting is designed to make others in the business community aware of what other businesses in the area do, to establish a better understanding of the community in which we’re all based and improve the ways in which business with the community and with each other is done."

The cost is £12.50. Cheques, payable to St Augustine’s Church, should be sent to PSM, 65 Allison Avenue, Gillingham ME7 3BX, or visit www.sagk.org.uk or www.practicalsales.co.uk for payment via Paypal.
