A firm which specialises in trying to save struggling businesses has opened a new regional office.
Begbies Traynor assists firms which require insolvency services or restructuring.
And now it has a new site at Maidstone's Turkey Mill Business Park in order to meet the growing demand for its services.
The Maidstone office will be headed by Jon Beard and colleague Steve Baluchi.
Mr Beard, partner and licensed insolvency practitioner, said: “Opening the office in Maidstone enables us to build on our long-established work for our clients in Kent, offering face to face advice, quickly and efficiently, from the well‐connected Turkey Mill site.
"It’s crucial to work closely with any business in need of our services, so we can fully understand their requirements and provide a solution tailored to their exact circumstances.
“Kent companies are having to contend with a range of challenges affecting their bottom line ‐ from the impact of rising inflation on real wages to the combined effects of growing political and economic uncertainty ‐ making the need for high quality, local business recovery services increasingly essential.
“This is an important step in Begbies Traynor’s growth in the region, and we’re pleased to be continually improving and expanded our existing insolvency services offering to Kent businesses.”
