BOND Retail Services, the Sheerness cabinet repair firm, has established a Swindon office to consolidate its national service coverage. The new office will serve to expand and strengthen the repair and refurbishment service to retailers in Wales, the West Midlands and South West.

The new branch comes on the back of Bond's recent acquisition of Adams installation, the Wiltshire-based refrigeration cabinet installation and refurbishment business. The purchase of Adams also equips Bond to add computerised cabinet gas leak detection to its service package. Bond will keep on Adams' system engineers and cabinet installers. Former owner and managing director Lance Adams stays for a three-month consultancy period.

Chris Woollett, Bond's managing director, said: "Buying the company has allowed us to close the loop in terms of our geographical coverage and inherit an established and proven pool of expertise at the same time."
