A car dealership has relocated in a £2.5 million move.
Arden Maidstone has stumped up the cash to move their Mini centre, as they transfer from Aylesford Retail park to a unit in London Road, Larkfield.
The development has seen an increase in size of the showroom to a seven car garage, along with a dedicated team of Mini engineers - creating a service and parts department.
The expansion to the site, which has been the home to a number of car dealerships before, has resulted in an increase in new jobs, offering around 25 opportunities to the local community.
Mini has already had a strong start to 2015, revealing it has had its strongest quarter one sales figures since the re-launch of the brand 14 years ago, selling nearly 15,000 cars.
The small car specialist, owned by BMW, has also recorded a 51% increase in registrations in the first three months of the year - looking on course to follow up a strong 2014 which saw over 53,900 Minis being sold to buyers across the UK.
Chris Brownridge, director at Mini UK, said: “The Mini range continues to grow in size and popularity due to its unique blend of increased practicality and timeless desirability.
“With our high performance John Cooper Works model soon to launch, 2015 is the most exciting year yet for Mini fans everywhere.”
Ross Daverson, managing director of Arden Maidstone said “It has been an extremely exciting process for the whole team here and we are really looking forward to sharing the results of all of the hard work with the Larkfield and Maidstone residents.”
“Not only does it give us the opportunity to showcase our fantastic range of MINIs in a new and improved environment but we also hope it will allow us to further cement our role in the local community”
The showroom has taken over four months to complete, and is currently open to the public with a launch party set to be held at the end of June.
