One of the county's care home businesses, specialising in adults with learning difficulties, has changed hands following a takeover.
The National Care Group has completed the acquisition of Cleveland House in Broadstairs for an undisclosed fee.
Cleveland House Limited is registered to provide personal care for a maximum of 25 adults, many of whom have autistic spectrum disorders and was rated 'Good' following its most recent CQC inspection.
David Rowe-Bewick, a director of NCG, said: "Cleveland House has been a trusted provider of person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities for more than 20 years. We believe it will make a valuable addition to National Care Group as we continue our nationwide growth. We will work closely with the team at Cleveland House to ensure that the highest quality of care is maintained during this transition.”
