Careers expo puts jobs in the spotlight

EMPLOYERS and job seekers are being brought together at the Kent Messenger Careers Expo 2002.

After last year's successful event, organisers say there has been strong demand for another.

Kent Careers Expo 2002 will be held at the Ramada Hotel (formerly the Great Danes Hotel) at Hollingbourne, near Maidstone, on October 3 and 4.

Almost 30 of Kent's leading employers have already booked places for an event designed to help place the right people in the right jobs.

KCC said last year's event "exceeded expectations in terms of numbers and quality".

Palmer and Harvey McLane, the Snodland-based distributor, said: "The quality of candidates has been of a very good calibre."

Sue Huntley, Kent Messenger Group classified manager, said: "Last year's event was a tremendous success and generated overwhelming response for many of the participants."

Stand prices are competitively priced and include the cost of an advertisement in a KM Group supplement published before the event. For information call Miss Huntley on 01622 794666.
